Objectives

The Visual Providing Services available on the RPLUG platform have two objectives :

• To get 3D pictures from any step of a car running configuration (open combination of criteria = URI)
• To get 3D pictures from a unique/complete vehicle definition (one final combination of criteria = VCD)

In the case of a vehicle running configuration, the visual providing services are based on live AOC tariffs, through C2G_Web tariff engine. Using the obtained URI as criteria query, it becomes also possible to get interior and exterior visuals or specific groups of pictures (like wheels, body color or upholsteries) from the vehicle configuration that you are running.

For the existing new vehicles (in stock) it is also possible to get 3D pictures from the VCD data (or Completely Defined Vehicle).

A coming evolution will allow the the user to get interior and exterior visuals from the VIN (vehicle single ID) through the BVM database (world vehicle database). However the query for specific groups of pictures (wheels) will not be compatible with VIN data.

The Visual Providing Services only works with official AOC tariffs running with C2G_WEB tarification engine.
C2G_Web has to be activated in each eligible country.
